THE 2025 I95 CUP

The i95 Cup is the original and only team-based FaceOff Championship comprised of the top 54 FaceOff men in the rising junior class. Every summer 6-man teams of FaceOff men from 9 different regions all come together in NJ.

The Competition is a round robin battle with a format like that of a team wrestling meet. The top 6 FO men from the following regions are selected, outfitted by our Sponsors Cascade Lacrosse, and Pro Athletics and trained to battle for bragging rights and class ranking in front of a massive collection of NCAA Coaches:

 

  • New England - Coached by FOA NE Director Colby Cohen

  • Connecticut - Coached by Towson all-conference FaceOff man Matt Constantinides

  • New York - Coached by former MLL MVP & Team USA member Greg Gurenlian as well as PLL All-Star and NLL Champion Connor Farrell

  • New Jersey - Coached by former MLL/PLL Veteran Jerry Ragonese

  • PA - Coached by former Princeton and current Villanova FO man Tyler Sandoval

  • DMV - Coached by former MLL FO man, NCAA D1 assistant & current FOA Advantage Recruiting Coordinator Corey Bulken

  • Carolina - Coached by Syracuse All-American Jake Phaup

  • SEC - Coached by FOAdvantage evaluator & former Villanova FO Zack Ornstein

  • Pangea - Coached by former 3x D1 All-American Tommy Burke

WHY THE
I95 CUP?

As a faceoff midfielder, ever wonder what area of the country produces the best? Ever read about faceoff guys from other areas and wish you could go against them? There are plenty of individual tournaments out there where individual players are crowned champions, but what area has the overall best??
The I-95 Cup is not your ordinary faceoff tournament. It’s the ultimate challenge to see which AREA of the country has the most talented faceoff midfielders. The top players from 9 different areas will meet for a 1-day tournament in an intense, unique format.
